Califorgilicious Returns: A Raw and Ridiculous Road Trip Revival

There’s something dangerously beautiful about trying to recreate magic — like walking back into a dream with your eyes wide open. In the latest episode of Califorgilicious, I do exactly that. This time, though, I’m bringing you with me.

Welcome to Califorgilicious: California Special — a slightly chaotic, definitely unfiltered, and occasionally poetic travel series broadcast from hotel rooms, deserts, dive bars, and maybe even a UFO crash site (fingers crossed). The idea is simple: every week, I check in from somewhere across California, mic in one hand, anxiety in the other.

In this introductory episode, I look back at my 2022 trip — a time when I somehow visited 10 cities, 3 national parks, 4 casinos, made 2 tattoos, saw 1 bear cub, gained some mysterious pounds, and lost $20 in Las Vegas (but I won 25 cents, so technically I’m still in the game). It was weirdly perfect. So of course, I’m now panicking about whether 2025 can live up to it.

But I’m doing it anyway.

The plan? Visit the places I missed last time — like the Museum of Death in LA (yep), sleep under the stars in Joshua Tree (scorpions willing), take the tram in Palm Springs, wander around UFO sites near 29 Palms, and finally see the giant sequoias I’ve been dreaming about since childhood. I also confess to you — more than once — that I’m nervous, underprepared, and absolutely committed to oversharing every step of the way.

What makes Califorgilicious special isn’t fancy production or curated perfection. It’s real-time travel with someone who overthinks everything but still jumps in headfirst. This episode isn’t just an intro — it’s a quiet promise to keep things raw, strange, beautiful, and deeply personal.

So whether you’re into offbeat California, road trip nostalgia, emotional detours, or just want to hear someone get mildly freaked out by coyotes, tune in. New episodes weekly — unless I get abducted by aliens. Which, again, fingers crossed.
